Wellness Coaching helps people develop and implement strategies to reach their personally identified goals of enhanced performance and personal satisfaction. Wellness Coaching works when there are two factors present:
1) You are willing to make changes in your life
2) There is a gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
Through an interactive and conversational process, Heather will help you first define and then set up a plan of action to pursue your desired strategies and solutions. Coaching is designed to move you towards the satisfying attainment of your personal and professional goals. Coaching is “client-centered”– you will be in charge of developing and achieving your stated goals, with Heather’s support, questions, suggestions and guidance.
Energy Healing sessions are gentle yet powerful experiences that invite balance, flow and harmony into energy centers within the body. Known as chakras and meridians, these centers can become frozen or imbalanced over time as a result of shocks or traumas experienced in life. The result of these incidents may take many forms. We may develop disease or discomfort, causing suffering and a decrease in enjoyment and satisfaction in life. Examples of ways this can present include physical illness, depression, and anxiety.
Energy sessions begin like a traditional therapy session, by talking about any issues you have been experiencing to assist you to identify issues with more awareness. The second phase of the session is done on a healing table. As your trained healer, Heather will take part in the session by placing her hands on or above your body’s energy centers, which people experience as profoundly relaxing and deeply therapeutic.
Heather has been practicing therapy since 1995 and has come to have a deep respect for the capacity we have for growth throughout our lifetimes, and the wisdom that our bodies hold within to guide us towards that growth. I see my role as a therapist as one of being a guide in service of encouraging others to uncover and discover their own wisdom and template for healthy expression and emotional freedom.
In a typical therapy session with me, you can expect something that looks like a verbal therapy session, but the emphasis will not only be on your thoughts and behaviors that you may wish to change or modify, but also on identifying and experiencing your feelings.
